Just called the last call at the ole bar and grill
Poured my final drink for the evening
It's a quarter to two, and ther's much left to do
But tonight ,I don't seem to mind

Well the boss runs around, trying to close up the shop
Lots of things to be done before the lights go out
As I wipe down this bar at this slow pace I'm takin
Just enjoyin these late night hours and the tips that I've been makin

And I don't mind closin this bar tonight
Strange as it may seem

Well the waiters tip me out, and we laugh about the night
Working a grind like this sure makes people tight
And the boss wants a drink so he can swallow his pills
Then I cash out my singles for some two digit bills

Knowin I'll be back to do it all again
Side work is done Few more hours , they'll be sun

And it was actually kind of nice ....to close down this bar....
